EXPLORING NEW FRONTIERS IN ASSESSMENT AND LEARNING

Will Freudenheim

Will is a researcher, game designer, and graduate student in the Comparative Media Studies program at MIT. His research is focused on investigating how people create systems for collecting, indexing, and storing knowledge based on their values. He is interested in using tools and practices from game design and the digital humanities to consider new ways of engaging with these systems. Recently, Will worked as a game designer and resident at NYU’s Game Center Incubator, where he co-led the development of a puzzle and exploration game called Crosshatch. He also regularly works as a composer and sound designer for film and digital media. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Society from Wesleyan University.
