These past few months and recent weeks have been very challenging for all of us, including for you as teachers and for your students. As the school year ends, it remains uncertain what the next academic year will look like.
The Playful Journey Lab, made up of assessment scientists, designers, and educators, has been discussing how we might support classroom educators in the coming year.
We would love to hear from you if and how we might help you think through some of these challenges. To that end, we would like to host a virtual conversation with middle and high school Massachusetts educators in our community.
We would like to invite you to participate in this conversation on Wednesday, June 17th from 3:30-4:30.
Potential discussion questions include:
- How might teachers support students to document and communicate their own learning and understanding while schooling-from-home?
- How might teachers involve caregivers in this process of documentation, reflection, and assessment?
- How might playful engagement and design support students to feel supported, connected, and part of a strong learning community?
Thank you in advance for considering joining us for this important conversation.
Please RSVP below by 5PM on Monday, June 15th. Feel free to share this invitation with other educators you work with.
